Translating paintings to beadwork

Maus Haus Studio is a painting studio founded by Claudia, an incredible artist and human. I was able to translate her paintings into some custom pieces that I sent to her last year, and since that time have been dreaming of this collaboration. The 12 Landscapes Print that these earrings are based off of, was a gift I received from Claudia during the pandemic in exchange for the earrings I made her. I found Claudia’s videos of process painting during the pandemic and would get lost in her beautiful world. Her choice of colors and shapes are mesmerizing and she has such singularity in style, it was an incredible gift to have permission to create these mini wearable pieces of Claudia’s work.
